Then entering my room to impart wisdom that offers a good, deep sleep. And that's the way we like to start the show, and that's the way we end the show, and that's the way we like to do it. But first, a few words from mother. A diary entry. Digging in the yard yesterday, getting it ready for some spring planting, and what did I find but an old Easter egg fully intact? Who knows how long it has been there? I know it's an ancient tradition related to fertility and what have you. But I'm sure, I'm pretty sure there's only been property on this lot since the post-World War II development. Well, not including the monomine and ho-chunk nations, of course. But I don't know that they buried Easter eggs. Anyway, I brought the egg into the house, and of course, as soon as my back was turned, Larry ate the darned thing, and then proceeded to vomit all night. Does it never end? Oh mother, Larry is such a moron, eh? Such a moron! Uh I remember him eating that thing. It was all dark and jelly looking. Uh he was like a dog, mother. Just he just used to eat everything, not excluding his dingleberries. Ha! D ch I know, I know, I know where I mean, I know TMI, I know. But truth and reconciliation is the only way for me to move forward from his monstrosity, mother, and it looks like maybe. Do we have that? Do we have some breaking news? I'll tell you that much, the greatness of this song, and it's by a young up-and-coming duo from Munich, Germany, Spinin. That was outstanding. I found that record at a Milwaukee record shop for $7.99. And I picked it up because the cover had Easter colors and it was the pastelli palette pastelli palette. And we were nearing Easter, and I just thought, isn't that curious that I would find an Easter colored album? The this close to Easter, and I I'm not even really I'm not really uh aside from clamber, I'm not really religious. And uh the front image is a washed-out photo of two young women. And then I turned the album over and then and got the notes on the back that indicated it was a duo, and they played all of the instruments, and uh and I'm always game for a duo, mother lovers. If you're gonna pull off a d a band as a duo, you gotta do something unique to make it sound full. So says me. So I put the needle down, and uh I gotta tell you immediately I said, oh boy, this was this was mispriced. This is not an eight dollar album. Uh, you know, so the Slade. Slade has some $8 albums, but a new album from 2025 that sounds like this for $8? Listen, mother brothers, the other lovers, the whole album is great. You gotta check it out. The band's name is Spinin', and the album is Warmest Licks, yeah, or something like that. And uh just a quick note to the band if you're listening, the spine was this record spine was super hard to read. I had no idea what the album was was because I couldn't find any information on the spine, but then Waylita said uh she said, uh no, it's just printed really small. And uh she was right, it's really small, but the moral of the story is I'm gonna play this album on every show over the course of the next couple of months because it's really good. Uh that song with Joe on piano and uh tabla and uh Larry on the synthesizer and organ. Uh, that song was titled Orgy. Oh. Now it could be a misspelling, uh, for for Orgy or Ogre. Maybe it's just a new word. I had no idea. Uh the album was a posthumous release just shortly after Mr. Yo Mr. Younghead died months after, if I'm not mistaken, and uh I could be mistaken because research and development is sting gonna sleep at the wheel again. Oh, hard, how the heck hard is this? It either was or wasn't a posthumous release! Yeah, I know, and I'm at my wits in too. Let's just say it's a posthumous release. It was recorded in 1977, and Young died in 1978, and uh yeah, okay, look at there's a picture at the back and the dead the dead blast album is dedicated to Larry Young. Okay, it says that I quote, this album is dedicated to the late Larry Young, whose spirit lives on in the illumination of the soul of those touched by his music. Uh so end quote. So there it is. Why why does it matter? Because truth matters, mother lovers. So long as truth matters, we should do our best to get the facts in order, research, and develop a good gravy. And each show will get a little deeper into the story. Last week Andy witnessed Uncle Charlie raise the back of his hand in a gesture of violent intimidation. What the heck could possibly go next? July thirty one. The sleeping situation has gone without remark because I hate my roommate. He stinks, he farts, he talks about money, and his eyes are dead. Also, his underwear doesn't fit, so the elastic slips below his butt and his dumb hips balloon over the band. Normally I wouldn't care, but he's awful. I dreamed that he was forcing me to eat dry toast, and Bilbo was watching from his cage with both hands on the glass, and he was rocking back and forth. I grabbed Lewin's hip, but my hand just sunk into a huge endless bowl of soft dough. I kept doing this, grabbing and grabbing. A cat kneading a sleeping bag. Then I saw him trimming grass and it was perfect. The edge, the shape, the color, the light. Uncle Charlie came out and they struggled over the trimmer. I woke up and my toe was bleeding. I wouldn't be surprised if Lewin picked it in the night. That's the kind of person he is. A toe vampire.

Willita and I we just had a discussion, and uh it was a real debate, and uh I think uh it's not that Wyalita didn't have good points. And uh there's a line in there about a turkey neck, and uh I'm pretty sure that's a nod to the famous classy Freddy Blassie line about pencil necks, and uh but it might also be a line from Milwaukee's own crusher, too. Uh pr uh but let's be honest, it's probably the crusher. Uh he was more he was more or less beloved, uh unlike classy Freddie Blassie, alternately known as uh the vampire, and Sailor Fred Blassie, and the Hollywood fashion plate, and the fashion plate of professional wrestling at 5'10, 220 pounds. Listen, no matter what you think of Classy Freddy Blassie, uh he paid his dues. Listen to this, weather lovers. Uh he was so hated by fans that someone threw acid on his back during a match. Okay?
