Good afternoon. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, Walita, I'm just gonna put on my shoes. Good afternoon! Before the early evening to wear all this is Andy Positive. And Wileza, we are bringing to you live from Riverwest Radio by the perfectly dusty street of center. Now there's musical diaries with Andy and Wileita. Now with a hot new phone line, you gotta call or text that. 414-812-1730. That's 414-812-1730-1730. A great year for the green stink bug. Hell this this little the this little rinky deeky excretes a foul, foul smelling liquid when it's disturbed. And some say the smell is like burnt rubber, but others say it's like soapy, soapy cilantro. But hey, hey, butter lovers, you gotta re- You gotta re- I'm gonna regale you with my with my all factory theory, which explains why some people when they press my shoe into their face, they smell they smell buttered corn, and then other people smell cat puke. And it's the same shoe, different people. Anyway, uh 1730, a great year for the green stink bug. And uh the smell that they screen can last for hours. Not uh not unlike our bathroom, Wileita, on a hot Sunday morning after a long night of Cheetos, pizza rolls, and lemonade. Yeah, Chulotu TMI. Yeah, I can see that. Okay, mother lovers. We're gonna get we're gonna get we're gonna get to this later in the show. Uh copyrighted feature text time, but uh but I need you to know that Waylita is she uh she runs this ship. Uh uh, I get it all prepared and then she drives this tanker in the studio. Sometimes it's uh sometimes it sounds like I'm losing my patience when something goes right or wrong and in between. But it's just uh just that I'm an intense person, and uh besides, Waylita can handle her own business. I I have the marks on my rear end to prove it. Just kidding, just kidding. I love you, Wylita, and I have a special furry hat I'm gonna put on for you tonight. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay. Understood, okay. Also understood is the profound enigma of Mother's Diary, the very foundation of this live radio program. Then at some point we'll play a song from your musical archives, and finally we'll end each show with mother breathing closely, then entering my room to impart wisdom that offers a good deep sleep. But first, the words of mother are diary entry. Just saw a restaurant that serves fried chicken. And it was called Kluck Norris. Getting cute with a restaurant that serves dead animals doesn't sit well with me. What's next? The Cod Father? Kawabunga Cafe? Beef teeth and eggs? Well that last one wasn't that good. Kind of disgusting, actually, but that's the point. We already disguised the food as it is, battered and fried, so you can't tell a tater tot from a turtle head. We oughta have to face what we're eating. And restaurant names shouldn't make the ordeal of eating animal flesh fun. Cluck Norris oughta be called Chicken Slaughter in San Francisco. That's a deep reference for anyone who happens to find this diary. And it refers to a 1974 movie starring Chuck Norris. And it's titled Slaughter in San Francisco. Larry just walked in with poop in his hand. Does it never end? Mother, brother, Larry is such a moron! And uh for new listeners, Larry is my brother, and he lives in a tin trailer in Arizona. And he is he is a dumb rock shop, and wait one time he broke into the radio station and he commandeered this very program without our permission. And he still walks around with he still walks around with poop in his hand. Schmidt Schmidt! Don't call Schmidt Schmidt! That was not a prompt for you to call. And mother, mother lovers, let us let us do this. Let us let us wait no more for this for the first song of today's program from Mother's LP Collection. And by the way, that was a good diatribe about chicken and what have you. Wiley to go ahead and hit it. The Desurix Sisters. Right in between Little Falls and St. Cloud, Minnesota. And the sisters sang together while they were doing chores as kids. They're just having a good time. Just imitating birds and yodeling and that kind of thing in the field. That's how they got started. That's a great record with 26 songs compiled and released by Mississippi Records in 2014. And you gotta re- you gotta go request that you gotta request that record at your local record cobbler. One time I was in a record shabby, and this guy is laying on the floor with a coat hanger on his head, just sort of just sort of holding his toupee on. And it turns out he owned a store and he was scraping the floorboards looking for potato bugs. And I said, What makes you think there's potato bugs down there, sir? And he looked up with absolutely wild eyes, and he said, Son, why wouldn't there be potato bugs down here? And I just said, Yeah, I guess you're technically right. I can't think of a reason why there wouldn't be potato bugs on the floorboards. Aside from that, that's not typically where they live, but uh but that certainly doesn't rule out the possibility. And then he slowly turned his turn back to his work on the floor, and it looks like maybe we've got a we have a call. Yeah, it looks like we have a call. Okay, I'm gonna pan pan it. Yeah, well, I need it. Can we patch that into number four? Yeah, four is yeah, three got all crushed. Yeah, look at somebody I'm gonna do something, but we gotta get the doctor about that. That pad is unusable. Let's use number four. Okay, call it about the delay. What do you got? What do you got for me? I guess for once I agree with you. That looks real nice, Jerry. Gotta go. Gotta go, McKegney. Nice try. Nice try there, McEgney. Flattery is is n flattery is not. It is not unlike the battery you slather on your chicken, McKegney. And I mean it. And if I didn't mean it, I wouldn't say it. That is to say that I tell the truth.
SPEAKER_06Where are you?
SPEAKER_07What are you? I love that voice. There was a band called Stars from their one and only self-titled album. You guessed it is Stars from 1975. This was a sort of this was a sort of a uh supergroup from England. And uh when the record did absolutely nothing on the charts, they packed their bags and went on to other projects. Apparently, apparently now, if research and development can't be trusted, apparently the drummer, Rick Parnell, Rick uh Rick Parnell, R-I-C, Rick Parnell played Mick Shrimpton, one of the drummers from This Is Spinal Tap. That's right, you remember that movie we watched that with Popcorn Waylita. I don't know. It's a fine album, the one we just heard, stars. But I write and I really like the song we just heard. They just they just needed more time to marinate. But what what the heck do I know? Well, I do know that it's time for yes, enter the game, my friends. Enter the game. Rollos Lobos! Okay, this is the game where you artfully combine in their respective entirety a can and a band a candy and a band name. I almost said a can. Ha ha! A candy and a band name like Rolos Lobos, okay? Now Rolos is the candy, and of course, Lolo's Lobos is the band and run Rolos Lobos. Or this killer from Wylie to Boys to Mentos, and sit down for this one, mother lovers. Wait for it! Spreely Dan. Spreely Dan! Ha ha! Okay, but you you get the idea, and I gotta eat a cough drop. So you gotta get your Rolos Lobos ready and flip open the phone and give us a call at 414-812-1730. That's 414-812-1730. 1730, a great year for the green stink bug. And you gotta call 414-812-1730. And you play Rolos Lobos, the Mother's Musical Diaries with Indian Y Alita, 104.1 FM WXRW River West Radio. And I'm just gonna I'm just gonna wait here a bit. And just wait for a call. And uh and also past winners, uh, I still have two of you to who to whom I owe an original hand drawing, and it's coming, I swear. And I I lost I lost the addresses, and now while Lita has to do some sleuthing, which if if you look up the word if you look up the definition of that word sleuthing, uh that it indicates that I did a crime, but I didn't. And uh someone else may have uh committed a crime, someone may have stole the addresses, I don't know. Uh but okay, and may and maybe Mel across the way here, you're drinking his soda and what have you. Maybe he stole my band name, uh my radio show name. I don't know. I don't know, but uh Wailita's gonna do some sleuthing. And uh yeah, but let's I think what we have to do right now here is we're gonna listen to some more music while you think of your original Rollos Lobos mothers.
SPEAKER_05Mother Lover, let's yeah, let's put out another song while you you you figure out what's your rollos lobos Up and all the time on the heart boom, up to the thing, the time on the heart, boom, up, up and all the time, on the heart, boom, up, do the ball, do it, I'm a hot and ball, I'll do it, it's in the ball, just win with the wine, don't walk to the wait to you when you take the wall Happens all the time, it's gonna happen, happen to the change of mind, it's gonna happen, happen, happens all the time, it's gonna happen, happen to the change of mind, don't win your thing, don't take it when you're don't just want to hop, boom, up and to the change, on the hot boom, up and up and all the time, it's on the hot boom, hope and to the change of the biggest.
SPEAKER_07And mother lovers, there's a part in that one that sounds like an sounds like an REM song, and uh I I I can't quite I can't quite nab it from my memory, but uh you you go ahead and call in or text at 414-812-1730, and you can tell me which REM song that sounded like to you, because there's something in there, I just know it. And uh that was by the undertones, they're also from l from London. And remember, Wiley, we were talking the other show, I said all these bands from England, I listened to like 50 of them, that everyone knows, and how that little island created all that music. And uh yeah, our minds were just blown. And we gotta get back to Rollos Lobos in just a minute because we have a special guest uh just coming in. That's how my that's how excited we are about Neil Horsky, but I think wait, you wanna let Neil in? Yeah. Hold on, yeah, Neil, what is a second? There you go. Come on in there, buddy! Okay, Neil Horsky, a founder, co-founder of a new space in River West, is a new art space, a museum of ambiguous objects. But before we get to get to that, Neil, we're in the middle of Rolos Lobos, the game! And I know you love games. It's a game where you and you where and you are you where and you artfully combined in their respective entirety, or thereabouts a candy and a band name. Rollos the Rollos the candy. The band name is a Rollos Lobos Lobos. Yeah, it took me an hour. I I came up with some really dumb yeah, you sound great. I came up with some really bad ones. But Waylita came up with Spreely Dan. The combination of Spree and Steely Dan. That's a Rollos Lobos. She also came up with uh Boys to Mentos. Boys to Men and Mentos. And uh I'm just I know I'm putting you on the spot, but if you've got a Rollos Lobos, here's your time because if you win you get an original hand drawing by me.
SPEAKER_00Alright, well, uh I have a friend who is a great musician. His name is Ian Kovac Jr. Jr. That's his stage name. So how about Ian Kovac Jr. Jr. Mint?
SPEAKER_07Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. Yeah, we love that one. Okay, really good. You win, Neil. You win. That's very rare for someone to come on the show like that and win. Now we're gonna just have a short little interview because you got something new and exciting, but before we get to that, uh, I wanted to say uh, where were you born, sir?
SPEAKER_00Fort Worth, Texas.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, now I know that's a town, I know it's a place, but it doesn't also indicate a fort, does it?
SPEAKER_00Uh, it indicates the worth of a fort.
SPEAKER_07Ah, then that's where you were born. Okay, and then uh now you're here to talk about the Museum of Ambiguous Objects that's opening up uh August 15th in River West. Is that correct, sir?
SPEAKER_00Yes, and it's at our new space called Style Machine. So the Museum of Ambiguous Objects is kind of a uh a solo event that's at our new space that's gonna be open for all sorts of things, uh full time starting in October, actually. 514 East Center Street. Oh, I I had August wrong? No, no, no. The Museum of Ambiguous Objects is open August 15th, just for one day only. Maybe it'll be open other times, but it's uh for Center Street Day specifically. And then Style Machine is open weekend starting in October.
SPEAKER_07Okay, why don't you give us the location of that?
SPEAKER_00514 East Center Street. Yeah, it's a few blocks down, it's like across from Mad Planet.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah. I used to go to the Michael Jackson dance night, but then, you know, all that stuff came out and I just felt dirty dancing to him, so I stopped going. But that's a different that's a different interview. Okay, so now the Museum of uh Ambiguous Objects is uh it's gonna be an event that's opened up during Central Street days, am I correct?
SPEAKER_00That's right. It's from eleven to seven, and that's coming up this Saturday.
SPEAKER_07Without without jumping the shark, I don't I'm not sure if I'm using that properly. Can you can you tell us something without spoiling the whole event?
SPEAKER_00Oh, definitely. So I've been collecting ambiguous objects for about 15 years, uh, and for me, what in for my purposes, the ambiguous objects are mass-produced consumer products, but you can't tell what they're for. It's not readily apparent what their function is. They're kind of mysterious. And so what I this is the second year in a row that we've done this. Last year, during Center Street Days, we asked the public to come up with creative consumer product concepts, imagining what these objects could be, coming up with funny creative names and advertising slogans and sales pitches for them. And so we're gonna have the some of those same objects on display with advertising copy, museum label copy generated from the public last year. And then there's uh another little subset of the muse of the objects which will feature names and advertising copy by Anja, not Anja, who is probably familiar to you guys.
SPEAKER_07She's the person Oh, okay. Yeah, she's got a radio show here and the storyteller.
SPEAKER_00And yeah, she's really something. So she's got a bunch of objects that she's named uh for the museum, and um they're really funny. And then there's a bunch of special events. There's gonna be um screenings of movies with ambiguous objects, uh, including the uh premiere of a music video featuring some of the objects uh the for this band, uh Milwaukee band called uh Resurrectionists. And that's a special thing that happens at two and five. And then there's also a live performance doing like pantomime with the ambiguous pantomime? Yes, that's right, at 330.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's a double entendre or whatever you call it, redundancy or something. And uh what so if if it g what what's a movie with an ambiguous object like Juju's pedals?
SPEAKER_00Uh no, they're all movies actually that uh I've either made or brought my objects to the filmmaker to use. And um and so uh one of them is a music video, another one was just like a uh kind of a surreal video art project that we use as an uh part of the introduction in the game show that I have using these objects, which is uh at Cactus Club every six months. It's called Name That Schlock.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I've heard about this, and I think Walite and I are gonna participate. Hey, let me ask you a question. Does the object have to be uh new? Because I was thinking about uh like a like a discarded diaper that's been run over a couple of times, and when you look at it, you'd be like, I have no idea what that is. But if you looked at a diaper uh when it's new, of course you know what it is. Does that make any sense?
SPEAKER_00I mean, for you, you can you're feel free to collect whatever ambiguous objects you want. I don't know if I want that particular one in my collection, uh, but I am open to donations with the, you know, uh uh qualifier that I might not keep it.
SPEAKER_07Okay, and so if people want to what what do they need to know? What should they do? I mean, some people don't like to go into museums because they're they get all scared. They they they gotta read stuff, uh they're good they're guards, uh, you know, they're you gotta walk up fifty steps.
SPEAKER_00Uh the street level, there's a bar that is uh serving really refreshing uh special um homemade sodas uh with uh special juiced syrups in them and uh herbs and they're delicious. Plus you can get your normal beard wine, etc. And so it's a kind of also a chance to just get off the hot street for a minute during the festival and come into a place that's um weird and but air conditioned and comfortable. Yeah. And you can get a cold drink, and um people are friendly and you'll have a good time.
SPEAKER_07I get really hard. So okay, one more time to Museum of Ambiguous Objects, which sounds super interesting, mother lovers. You ought to make a trip down here. We got a l uh a listener from Myanmar. I don't think that's I wouldn't come to the States for that necessarily. Uh but uh other people will live nearby, they ought to come check it out on August 15th. At what time?
SPEAKER_00This is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Yeah, and then after that it's gonna be uh well style machine will have programming every weekend starting in October.
SPEAKER_07Why don't we have you back and we we can talk about the programming? How does that sound?
SPEAKER_00That sounds lovely.
SPEAKER_07And I think Moelita's gonna cue some music here. And we're now back to Rollos Lobos. Yeah. Okay, Neil, I want to thank you for coming in. That was actually that was magical. I'm holding one of his his objects here, and I don't know what the heck's going on with this thing. It looks like a giant uh set of like Halloween fangs, and it's pretty ambiguous, and then you got this other thing that I don't know, you it's tubular, and you might push it into something and make four things depress. And if you tried to put water in it, though, it would go through a hole. So I think you ought to check out that show at the uh ambiguous orkins. Uh Dusty Street of Center, mother lovers. And now back to Rolos Lobos, and I wait, wait a second here, wait a second here. Wait a second. Oh, yeah, okay, I got a text. I got a text uh from hashtag monkey jaws too. Oh, I love hearing from hashtag monkey jaws too. And the text says this is about Rolos Lobos. Hi, Andy. My Rolos Lobos is Led Zeppelin Peanut ButterCups. No, Wiley said, no, sorry. Uh hashtag monkey jaws too, no. You're off the mark, you missed the target, and you hit a car in the parking lot. And it looks like we have a call there. Look like we have a call there, Wiley. Do you want to go ahead and pass that through? Put it on line number four. Okay, mother lover. Okay, I'm gonna answer right now. Okay, mother lovers, you're on line number four, which is the lucky line. What do you what do you got for me, mother lover? Hello, Maurice, mad dog for shot, my friend, how are you?
SPEAKER_01I couldn't finish that pine box for Jeremy Prack.
SPEAKER_07I left a message. We don't need a pine box for Jeremy Prock. He apologized, I swear to clever, he apologized.
SPEAKER_01What are you talking about? What are the getting the winner with you, Derby? And my feet are still dead. And you don't have no productive number with pee stickers. You're gonna wake you with a deep stick, but pine box, Jeremy, that's what you want.
SPEAKER_07You're gonna be my mad dog, mad dog, come on, dog, her feet, come on, guys. Settle down there, big fella. Jeez, I swear I left that message for mad dog. He put all that work into a pine box coughing for Jeremy. Now he might be mad at me. Uh, I hope not, uh, Mad Dog. You know my heart's in the right place. It really is, and he's my friend, but boy, is he greasy and hairy, and just barrel-chested, and when he gets a hold of you, you feel like you should be able to wriggle, cause just we're gonna wriggle free, because he's so slippery, but I but I think all his hair is just kind of sticky like velcro. And okay, mother lovers. I lost. I gotta this is an understatement here. I I uh I really lost track of Rolo's logos, and uh, we still don't have no winners. Uh, actually, we do it. We did have a winner. We had Neil Horsky. Uh Wyalita awarded Neil Horsky of a Museum of Ambiguous Objects. A win. Now, I had a beef with that win. I have to go back and check the record, because I never heard of this musician he was talking about. So for me, uh there'll be no horns, but Wylita is a very generous soul. So I'm gonna say still no winners, eh? Wow, it looks like we have another caller, Wailita. Yeah. Okay, I got that. I'm gonna answer that. I got it. Okay, what do you got, mother lovers? You're calling in for a Rolos Lobos. Mother lovers, boy, mother lover, what do you got? I heard I heard a bright name last week, Eddie.
SPEAKER_01Why?
SPEAKER_07Why talk not about say sergeant spy? Why talk not about say sergeant spy? What why do you say Sergey? We're not playing Rolo. Listen, fella. We're playing Rollos Lobos where you are for the combined candy and a band name like Boy Sementos. We're not playing why did why did Doc Knockbutt say Sergei Spy and hot dog? I don't play game. I don't play game. I don't like game. Doc knockback and play game. I don't like game. But on this live radio show, the one you called into, the one you're on right now, Sergei, we're playing a game. This is not concerning me. This is this this does not concern me. I want Doc Nugbut to say sorry. Sergei no spy in hot tub. Did he say that? No, he no he now he says Sergei no spy in hot tub. Nugbut apologize. Hang up, Wiley Dut. Hang up. Hang up. Come on, come on. Listen, Mother Lovers, Sarge. I'm not Doc, he's not apologizing for nothing. Listen, if he observed your spine in that foamy hot tub and sure would, then that's that's the truth. Okay. Uh let's shift gears, Wiley Todd. Yeah. Mother lovers, you gotta go ahead and put on your headphones and forget. Just forget you ever heard Sergio.
SPEAKER_04The beginning of everything is very hot, it's the easy day, the beginning of everything is very hot, it's the easy day. We'll make sucky, oh starting with a cheap, but she will make you suck. I hope you is the only answer. Is the only way, I show you is the only answer. Love me, I love you is the only way. Tell me, I tell you is the only answer. Everything is coming back.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, listen, I just got a text at four one four-eight one two-1730 from our our movie mogul in uh Long Beach, California, and uh who submitted a correct, a very correct rollos Lobos, Wileita. I don't know if you've got that horn ready. We got a correct roll those logos for our Oreo. Yeah, I gotta, I gotta wait, yeah, hold on now, Wileita Trigger finger. Remind me not to give you our handgun. Okay, it is Oreo Speedwagon. Yeah, so okay, I'm just gonna pull it all down. That's excellent. Yes, Oreo Speedwagon. Nice work. Nice work, okay. And also, I think what bro what brought what brought that uh correct answer into the ether was that uh great feel-good song by Fred Fisher. And uh what a great album. Uh the best feel-good album in the last hundred years. It's a double album called African Carnival, and I've I've had that one for quite a while, and it was in perfect condition until today. I saw that Godzilla damaged the spine with her claws. And she likes to claw the records, and it it could have I it could have been Golden Boy 2 as well, I guess. Either way, one of our lovely cats has damaged several several or several or several of our record spines. And I mean, it's better than them peeing in the house. Okay, well then I guess it's better than me eating eat my soft meat myself and vulnerable eyeballs in the middle of the night. Wyalita just said that she saw Godzilla lick in my eyelid the other night. Okay, well let's just I mean let's just move on to it. Yes, that's right! Why not I each show I'll read a short passage from my unpublished memoir. Memoir titled out Diaria Foundos in me, which will be illustrated by Wylita. And each show will get a little deeper into the story. Yes, we will, Wylita. And last week we saw Andy saw TJ's brothers, Mick and Rick, and uh Andy saw them fight over a ball of white bread. The diarrhea of Foundos and me. August 10. Stubbed my toe again, and Lewin mowed down Uncle Charlie's steaks. I didn't see it happen, but when I came home, I saw that every single one had been knocked over. A clean strike, and the mud tracks had widened. At dinner, no one said a word. Much later, Uncle Charlie picked up the steaks and piled them in the back of the garage near the captain's bench. Aunt Carrie did the dishes and watched him work from the light of the kitchen window. Either we had a major plague of insects, or the bug zapper in the backyard was malfunctioning because all night there was an incessant crackling. Okay, yeah, now that was a great, great if Dickinson, why not? I had uh just you have to remember that we will be publishing this entire document as a memoir. And uh the the main characters are well, one is me, as Andy, the narrator is me, and then when you heard about Uncle Charlie, that's Andy's uncle, and Aunt Carrie, that's that's uncle, that's Aunt Carrie, and uh the the per the person that why that Andy really doesn't like, his name is Lewin. That's his cousin, he has to share a bedroom with Lewin who stinks and farts. And uh, but more about the diary of uh Foundos and me uh in the coming weeks, but first, an incredible song.
unknownOne, two, three!
SPEAKER_07Oh, come on. That was Dumb Home Romayo with a song called Cinnamon Flower. What a great song, Roma. Romayo plays the drums and all the other sorts of percussion on that one. And that was Joe Beck on the guitar. Not Jeff Beck, Joe Beck. The great jazz and rock crossover guitarist, the sublime stuff. You gotta get your hands on that one if you can, mother lovers. Dom Romayo, and uh that's off the Muse Records label. That's a special LP that uh that is a special LP, that one. And hey, just a reminder that this show is live. There are no overrubs or double-dos or no editing. Because I met this young fellow at the Froyo and we got talking, and it turns out he he listens to the show and I said, Yeah, it's a real challenge doing live radio. And he said, Live radio? Are you kidding me? I thought you were editing! And I said, No, uh, like I say on the show, it's live and on time. Every everything you're hearing is happening in real time. Me, Wylita, Pierre. Yes, that's right, yeah, thank you, Pierre. Wormy calls, and then there are records, and then there are sounds, a bunch of sounds. Yeah, thank you, Wylita. And all of this is live, and to prove it, uh let's say that at the end of that Fred Fisher song, well, the record had a skip in it, and it was skipping, and instead of like trying to fix it, I just started I just started repeating the skip with my mouth. You remember that? And then this last song, that Dom Umra Mayo, well, why Lita was supposed to have that queued up. She didn't because she was busy texting on her phone. And I looked over, it wasn't ready, so I just stalled by talking more about the diary of founders of me, but she knows she Wyalita gets to have some fun here too, you know. Thank you, Wyalita. This is all live. We start right at 4 p.m. and end at 4.59 p.m., whether we like it or not. And anywho, I just wanted to be clear, just sort of appeal back a curtain a bit on this. This live radio program, just two people pushing buttons on the dusty street of centers. Whether it's musical diaries with A Indian Wyalita 104.1 FM, WXRW River West Radio, and I think we can go ahead with our next copyrighted feature, Wilita. What are you saying? Yes. And text time! Hahaha, yes, it's time for text time. This is a copyrighted feature on this live radio program. Mother's musical diaries, okay. My inbox is stuffed, I'm gonna randomly select this one from hashtag bronze fonz81 cheesesteak. Yeah, text time! Okay, here we go from hashtag bronze fonz81 cheesesteak. Cheesesteak. Okay, here's here's the text. Who are you voting for? I have weird red bumps on my ankles. Okay, TMI bronze fonz81 cheesesteak. Uh, but I but I but I diagnose you with the gout. Stay away from that cheese stack for starters, and uh okay, about my sacred voting privacy. I'm not biting, but I will say, get out there and vote, you sons of britches. I said sons of britches! All I can say is that there's one party that believes government is an investment in people and the other doesn't. It's not too difficult. Okay, what else? We got another one here. Uh listen, this one's from hashtag fever of dreams. Okay, I think you meant fever of dreams, I really do, but okay. Hashtag fever of dreams. Text time! Okay, hashtag fever of dreams right. If I could go anywhere in the world, Andy. Wait. If I could go anywhere in the word, Andy, where would I go? Okay, it looks like you meant to say world. Pretty sure, but you said word. Okay. I can't answer where in the word you'd go. It doesn't make any sense. Where in the word would you go? Well Yeah, well, I mean Okay, if it was if I could go anywhere in the word, where Andy, where would I go? Okay, well, taking it at face value, where in the word? Uh I'd say go into the O. Uh, there's more space to move around. Uh look at that W. That's a mess. There's no nowhere to go. It's just like a corn maze. And uh the R, same thing. You get you're too vulnerable around that R. But the D and the D, well, it's not unlike an O, but it's just not as big as the interior of an O. Which depends on the font, too. Uh hashtag fever of Drems. Uh you gotta you gotta go into that O. You can create, you can create in there. There's room to create and nice and big and oo pin. Ha ha ha! Oh it looks like we have looks like uh looks like we might have a call there, why didn't we? Okay, yeah, I'm gonna punch that in. And we got uh track number three there. Yes, okay, mother lover, what do you got? What do you got for me? You got a text time? Oh I just love that segment. What do you what do you imagine? What it'll be like where it's a go in word? That's brilliant, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I got me. I can't believe it, God. It's so good to hear from you, buddy. It's so good to hear from you. October nineteen seventy one. September nineteen seventy one. Let's do a let's do another adventures in let's do another adventures in big man if you don't. Okay, yeah, yucca, yeah, what it while she wants to do another adventures in Big Ben too, I guess. Okay, yum, yucca. What the what the heck do you got there? Go ahead and put them on your bum. Just I have the most real headphones. It's a collection of the commemoration with the great razor all of her. If you can hear monk identity cut right through the straight big band song on a supposedly commercial big band record. Okay, yeah. Thanks for coming. Go ahead, Waylee. Go ahead. You got that cue up, yeah? Go ahead and lay that neat her down. A lot of people pan that record because it's kind of it's got a big arrangement with Oliver Nelson. It's it's commercial apparently, but what a great song. Come on, people. You Jazz Pierce could go take a hike. And uh now what I gotta c I gotta tell you, mother lovers, we really wanna finish this this uh Kinks album, the Kinks of the Village Green Preservation Society, but we're not gonna get it today, but maybe next week. And once we get to that song, that's gonna wrap up our 17-track original pressing, mono pressing of that album. There was a 15-track stereo pressing, but we did the 17- oh no, I'm sorry it was 12 stereo. Yeah, but we have a 17-track mono then, and the thing is, but it doesn't end there. That's just that's the end of the original great album. That is probably one of the greatest albums ever recorded, as far as I'm concerned. But after that, because I'm playing you the 2014 uh Earwax 3-disc edition, we're gonna play all the singles and so forth that were created around that time by the Kings. Albums that were B-sides and stuff that never got released, and they're all great because they're from the same era, and they sound really, really amazing, and you're gonna love it. And I can't wait to play those for you. Coming up in the coming months on Mother's Musical Diaries with Andy and Wyalita. And I wanna wanna take a special moment and thank all the people that showed up to today to really give themselves fully to the show. Wyalita, even though she missed that one record, I don't know, that's fine. Uh, I make mistakes all the time, Wylita. And then um I wanna thank all the people yapping their gums in the studio! And then also Neil Horski. Listen, he's for real, fellas. He's for real, uh ladies. He's got a museum of ambiguous objects, you gotta check that out on August 15th. And then yeah, Jakob Yerosh Levakowski, thanks for stopping by on the phone. And of course, Mad Dog Vashan. Remember, Mad Dog? Like I said, uh I I I left a message that I said that you know you gotta don't s don't send your stomping feeds for Jeremy Brock because he apologized. And I think mother is on the line. Yes, mother. Andy, Annie. Don't be fooled by the naysayers, Andy. Life is a mosquito and a stone, a rope, and a phone. Okay, mother. Listen, I'm never you know I'm never gonna forget you saying that. Creeping up into my room and uh just dropping that knowledge bomb. I appreciate you so much, brother. I also appreciate Jerry Han. Yes, yes, I love wrapping up the show with Jerry Han. Not the Jerry Han from Quality Foods in Gaylord, Minnesota. Okay, mother lovers, this has been an excellent show where your time is the best time, and you gotta ask yourself, what the heck did I hear today? We heard so much. Hey, I can't tell you, you really have to check out that Dom Woomra Mile record, R O M A O, and that's it for us. Good night, West Radio.
